QUICK, BEFORE THE BABY WAKES UP!
February 15th 2007 02:58
Okay, quick. Write something. What? I don’t know. All I do know is that I need to write today’s post before the baby wakes up. Okay. Think. What’s been going on?
Well, my 5 year old has been learning about the sea at school. Okay, not much there.
My 3 year old is learning his address. Okay, good. He’s even forming letters. But still, not much there.
My 15 month old (the baby – I know he’s technically a “toddler” now, but I still see him as my baby). What’s he doing? Well it’s getting harder and harder to appease him. Just learn to talk, it would make life so much easier. He is also having noticeably shorter day time naps. C’mon inspiration. Where are you? Got to get this post out before he wakes up.
I’ve been good today. Kitchen’s clean, clothes put away, I’ve even managed to get dinner happening in the slow cooker so my afternoon will be free to spend time with the kids – and go to the shops and buy them some socks. Why is it lately their socks have either gone missing or getting holes in them?
Okay add it to the list. Milk, socks and… What else is there? Oh yes, a birthday present for tomorrow afternoon’s birthday party. Mustn’t forget that.
C’mon inspiration, I need to write a post. I’m running out of time.
Why can’t you strike at the optimum time between 12.00pm and 1.00pm. I’m running a household and raising a family here. Time management is critical. Coming to me at midnight is no good. I ‘m too tired then. I don’t want to write at midnight, I want to sleep. Sleep is very important, it keeps me from going crazy. No-one wants a crazy mum.
So let’s get on with it….
I’m waiting…..
Did I mention that time is of the essence?
Hang on…what’s that I hear?
Too late.
The baby’s awake.

You're ahead of me, I couldn't even think about it when my three were wee.
Good try, let's see how the post goes, I can't even get mine on at present and it's not the three little ones that are the problem. It's the internal server. You know what everyone talks about but nobody actually knows just how it works or is supposed to.

Yes, you are experiencing some problems. Your comment came up twice. I'll delete one.
It's one of those things (blogging) that helps keep me sane - even though the hours it takes out of my day is insane.
It's like exercise. Even though half the time I too tired to do it, I know I should because it will make me feel better, later. And not doing it, will definitely make me feel worse.
Thanks for the visit and the comments
