Sleep is an optional extra.
Singing nursery rhymes (badly) isn't an optional extra.
Small things are the most important.

Mum's Word
My kids have changed the last line to Baa Baa Black Sheep and now sing "Lucas is his name".
Fast forward a couple of years when Lucas realises that the line is "Who lives down the lane". That should be fun.
